How do you get the rear light to work? I have the heated shield pluged into my 2026 Polaris 9R Assault and the rear light doesn’t work: Hey Ryan, apologies for the confusion - the rear lights are only available on our Delta V Commander helmet models. On our non-Commander models, those panels solely act as reflectors.
Do you need an external battery source for the shield or is it included in helmet? How long will shield power last?: Hey John, it is not included in the helmet. It needs to be plugged into an external source. There's a cord included with the helmet that allows you to connect to the snowmobile. Shield power lasts as long as you're plugged into your snowmobile. You can also plug into an external battery of your choice and from there shield power depends upon your battery source.
