"I haven't had a chance to use it out doors yet but the cut it very baggy in the body. I can fit my nine year old in there with me. But the large I couldn't get it off of my shoulders without help. And the red appears orangish in the light. The reinforcement around the cuffs and knees seems very strong."

Awesome suit!
"Most waterproof and breathable suit I’ve ever worn. Plenty of pockets and venting. Wouldn’t wear any other suit."
"Bought for my husband he loves it. Was delivered super quick."
Stays dry cuts wind. Doesn’t have beacon loop
"Overall pleased with the product. Does a great job of cutting the wind and staying dry. Rode in for 6 hrs in deep snow with nothing but a t shirt and shorts on underneath 10 deg f. Fitment was good, lg (6ft 185lbs) seems like they added room around the shoulder/arm which is nice! previous allied suit was to tight and caused stitching to fail. Only complaint but its a big one for me, is that the transceiver pocket still has no internal way to tether an ave beacon inside the pocket. A simple loop inside to attach to is needed. ive had to resort to using the key tether loop near leg pocket for securing them with 509 gear. Would prefer it to not be hanging out the pocket but i havent had an issue yet. If it wasnt for that id have given it 5 stars."
I love this thing!
"The Ether Mono is my go to! It breathes very well which is important for keeping the sweat down while working hard. The durability is top notch and held up to me putting it through the ringer. It also keeps me dry and is a great bearer for wind and cold. I recommend it to anyone looking for a monosuit that just flat out works!"
This mono is amazing
"I used this mono in Everything from 20- weather to wet spring riding couldn’t be more happy with it"
Great suit with good customer service
"Great Suit! The new design has extra durable material where it's needed for back country mountain riding! Storage is good and has venting options for those warm days or tough rides. Would recommend"
The best
"Not much to say besides the fact the ether is truly amazing. I put it through harsh riding and beat up the gear and it just holds up. Super water proof and warm. It by far is my favorite gear to ride with and the only gear i will run. 509 nailed it."
Major Upgrade!
"This is my second 509 monosuit and this is a nice suit! The fabric is lighter on top and then significantly reinforced on the bottom. The straps are padded and more comfortable. The pockets are large and well l-placed. I'm legitimately impressed with this suit."
Good fit, great function
"fits pretty loose/baggy, even with under layers and chest protector. Length is good. Crotch rides low if shoulder straps aren’t tightened enough. Does a great job blocking wind and still breathing. 6’3 220 size XL"
Q&A
- What is the difference between the EVOLVE MONO SUIT SHELL and the STOKE MONO SUIT SHELL And the ETHER MONO SUIT SHELL I would like to choose one, but I don't know their differences and uses.
- Hey Samuel, apologies for the delay here! All 3 mono suits you have listed there are intended for mountain riding, so I will call out the key differences between them to help you in your decision. Our Evolve Mono Suit is newer piece inspired by our original Evolve Jacket and Bib Shell. It's a more entry-level shell with our new material formulated without PFAS called 5Flex, that still has that 10k/10k waterproof breathability and stretch, a roomier fit, excellent durability and protection with built-in knee pads. Our Stoke Mono Suit is the next level up and is definitely a staff and athlete favorite. It is more of an athletic cut, has 20k/20k waterproof breathability with our 5Tech Pro premium fabric, and has fusion welded seams that lay flat and keep moisture out. Also has solid durability and protection with built-in knee pads and our 5Ride protection zone in the bum. Finally we have our Ether Mono Suit which is our top of the line mountain mono made with Sympatex - which is a 45/25k breathable, waterproof material, similar athletic cut to our Stoke, and the same durability and protection with the knee-pads and 5Ride protection zone. In summary, it all comes down to the level of waterproofing and breathability so if you ride in super soggy conditions and want the ultimate protection against the elements - the Ether Mono Suit is going to be your best bet with that 45k/25k material.
