Joy! We are so sorry to have left you wondering for so long! It was a very moving naming process created by our product development team. They created a new hat and it needed a name so naturally the naming process went down like this... "It's a belt for your head" ...followed by "What's that belt drive system for clutched transmissions?" "CVT...can we make an acronym out of that?" "Circumference Variable Tension" "Sold" And just like that, the CVT Hat was born with a lovely reference to snowmobiles, as well as a more technical definition for your head.
