Great Jacket - Looks good and just works!

"This jacket is great, even in temps close to 80 degrees. Here in GA it gets a bit warmer so not sure it will be the everyday jacket in July and August, but it's perfect for the mid-season ride, and even into the cooler months with the removeable liner. And I appreciate the little bit of design to it without being over the top. High quality material and very functional!"

Quality Jacket

"I just found my new summer jacket! This has the protection of a leather jacket but the breathability of a textile jacket. It has a removable liner for even more air flow. I appreciate the taper on the abdomen as my chest is wider than my belt line. It also has sleeve zippers to chinch up around your wrists. 509 did a great job with all the little accents and designs to make it one-of-a-kind and stylish! Overall great jacket!"

I own both jackets - this is the cooler one.

"Between the @One and 1Down5Up, the biggest difference is the warmth. Where I'd wear the @One jacket from 45 degrees to about 90 degrees (Fahrenheit) and I'd wear the 1Down5Up from about 75 to 100 (over 100 and I'm not going outside lol). If I had to pick just one, as someone in the Pacific Northwest, I'd go with the @One, but if you want a leather jacket and live in a hotter climate the 1Down5Up is the way to go. I was SHOCKED at how cool it was. It's more breathable than my textile summer-oriented jacket...wild. Flexibility in both jackets is great, but the 1Down5Up is a little better, as it should be with all the stretch panels. I am 6' 170lbs and wear a Large in this Jacket. One star removed for not coming with D3o panels, as it should at this price point."

Oh my god a well fitting leather jacket!

"I have tried on SEVERAL brands trying to find a jacket that both fits my American cut body type, that ALSO has a fashionable/casual style, while providing a solid level of abrasion protection. This cut fits more American style bodies in that I have a bit of a larger frame (6'2, 245lbs) with a longer torso which makes other sport cut waist jackets a bit of a challenge. The stretch panels are great and in all the right spots to provide a bit more flexibility. The perforated leather is a great quality and the sizing is true to the sizing charts provided. I took a 2XL whereas similar European brands like Revit jackets I take a 3XL, and American brand Klim, I take an XL which is what I typically where for casual clothing, so a size up from normal for me. The internal liner was a nice touch and love that it's attached in a more solid way to other brands where I slide around within the jacket and liner. It does NOT come with pads, but I have a set of CE level 2 D30 pads which fit nicely in the provided spaces and still have decent room. A small wishlist item would be a collar snap, but the zipper is sturdy and may not really need the assurance. I really appreciate the understated 509 logos on the jacket, it looks far more classy and clean. Overall, a SOLID leather jacket, especially at the listed price point. I really love the design and am excited to keep it for the long run!"
