"I purchased this visor as a replacement because I broke mine. It’s very nice of you to offer visor individually. However, with shipping and customs, it ended up costing me almost $100 CAD, which is a bit expensive for just a visor. I’d also like to mention that I’m already having issues with the wire that connects to my electric visor. "I first want to say that the customer service is outstanding, I couldn't be happier with my interaction with them regarding my helmet. I am not a fast rider, but I noticed right away that my helmet catches more wind than I am used to. In addition, my Visor broke off. After the Visor broke off, we went to a local dealer, and they stated that the screws had come loose and that is the reason the Visor broke off. The dealer stated that there were known issues regarding this. The matching Visor was not in stock and there was no indication of when it would be available, so I was sent a matte black at no charge. I greatly appreciated being sent the visor and bushings at no charge, but I am not going to put it on my helmet due to the way it looks. If the matching Visor would become available, that is the one I would want. Again, the customer service was excellent, I like the look of the helmet but was disappointed with the extra wind I get inside the helmet and the fact that the Visor broke off. Thank you."

I just opened the box

"I just opened the box when I received this email. My season was over so I did not put it on my helmet. When I opened it much to my disappointment it is not the correct visor. It should have been all black. Instead it has neon writing on it."

Want to Love

"I want to love this helmet as there are some great features. I love the modular component...huge selling point for me. We stop frequently to chat and I don't have to take my helmet off and lose heat or take forever getting it back on to take off again. I bought the Black Aura and the color scheme is great. The heated shield works pretty well unless it is snowing hard or freezing slush and then it freezes on the shield, however, it doesn't fog usually fog up. Negatives, screws on side that holds the face plate fell out the first ride (I have now seen many other reviews online saying the same). Fortunately I was at a stop and it fell out when I lifted the face shield so I was able to locate. I had noticed that the visor seemed to catch the wind at times and jerk my head back or lift the whole helmet up to where I couldn't see and had to grab my helmet and pull back down. Last weekend the visor completely broke off while riding at a higher speed down the trail. I was able to locate the visor. Since it broke off not able to reuse, but the whole screw/bushing system on the side is gone. I would advise taking the visor off if you ride at speeds over 40 or so. The small piece of fabric that goes under the chin is on the small/short side. Not a deal breaker but kind of annoying. I only used the bib type fabric piece that attaches magnetically once since it covers your face if you open the whole front modular part, but a nice feature to have. Bit of a learning curve to attach at first. The sun visor mechanism only worked for a few rides. Great feature if it actually worked. Mine now sits down a couple inches from the top of my helmet. Won't stay up or down, so useless. This helmet has great features in theory and I want to love it, but so much has gone wrong with it. I expect better quality and long term functioning features for a helmet in this price range. I will be contacting 509 to see if they can supply a replacement screw set and any advice on the sunshield mechanism. Right now, I'm pretty bummed about this helmet."

Does this come with the bolts and bushings?
Hi there, great question! The visor does not include the bushing kit or screws.
I just got one of these helmets. Pretty sweet looking. Does the visor adjust to a lower position? Seems a little high. I don’t want to mess with the visor screws if it is not adjustable. I really like a lot about the helmet. Just rode 125 miles in the Adirondacks. Struggled with a bit of an air leak but absolutely love the drop down tinted visor and the easy latching chin strap.
Hello! Apologies for the delay. Unfortunately the visor does not adjust to a lower position and we do not recommend attempting to do so.
