Delta V Ignite Commander Helmet

Alot tight

"Tried the large and the X large helmets. If you can get them on and off without ripping your ears off they'd be great helmets. Loves the fit once I got them on but my ears were sore just taking them on and off trying to figure them out. Its not the pads in the helmets that make them hard to get on and off and they use the same shell for both L and XL helmets so going up a size did nothing to help. Slick looking helmets though and the integrated cardo system was nice."

Too small

"Only way for this to go over my ears when taking it off would be to go to a 3XL to get the larger shell and I typically wear a medium but bought an XL. This is not a viable solution since the XL is almost too big on the inside once it is on. I thought I could make it work but after taking it off 4 times in one day my ears hurt to touch. Was not offered a refund unfortunately either since I wore it on one trip."

Great helmet

"I read a lot of negative reviews of this helmet but overall I think it’s a great helmet. Warm, vents work awesome and the speakers and commander works awesome. I will say that you will have to size up. I bought a 2xl when I usually wear an xl. Only thing I wish this helmet had was a flip down sun shield."

Shell is too small

"Ordering 1 to 2 sizes up did not help in my case. Usually wear a medium, ordered an XL but the shell is too small to get it off. Squishes my ears. The only way to get a bigger shell is to go all the way to the 3XL and the helmet barely fits as is once i have it on. Too big when wearing, too small of a shell to get off. I want to like it for all of the accessories but taking it off repeatedly while out trail riding becomes too painful."

Slow service poor helmet

"Helmet did not fit right, tried return but denied for a couple blemishes. Lens fogs up."

"Helmet runs very small. I wear a Xl I went up one size and still very tight."

"I did not like the helmet I sent it back. The opening where you put your head in for me was too small my ears scraped on the plastic that holds the Cardo system concealed. I usually wear a large I even ordered XL I also thought the earmuffs that adjust to your ears would actually pump up tight. They did not cheaply made on that pumped it many times I barely felt it adjust to my ears. Other than that, the helmet seemed to be really nice, but I bought it for the reasons that I just explained hidden cardo system and adjustable ear muffs to help drown out wind noise. The one good thing is the company was very compliant with issuing my refund thank you 509!"
