Nice when it works/stays together

"Pros. Nice when it works. Cons. Stitches come out of chin clip. Magnets never stay connected on one side when riding. Makes for a cold neck. Seems like material is too small for the helmet. On my 2nd one and can tell same quality as original. 👎"

I own three different 509

"I own three different 509 helmets and I feel that they are the best helmets that I have used I bought an oxygen helmet and I believe it’s the most overrated helmet you could have and I will take the 509 any day over the oxygen I don’t even use the oxygen helmet anymore Keep up the good work guys I only hope that you will get me a 509 carbon fiber helmet with some Yamaha racing blue collar in it I’ve got a red one that goes with my red sled but I have an SRX blue sled that I would love to wear a matching 509 blue helmet"

Q&A

Does the chin curtain still allow for the Delta R$ Modular functionality? It looks like some of the chin curtain mounts to the stationary part of the helmet and some to the front articulating section. Can you clarify this for me. I would like to buy this is i can still utalize the modular swing without having to reattach the chin curtain
Hey Scott! Curtain is mounted to the chinbar, so it will come up when using the modular feature. We recommend users just tuck any feature hanging down between the shell and chin bar when it is up. There is a magnet attachment to the underside of the stationary part, so when using the modular feature, simply pull down the magnetic part, and lift the chin bar up. When closing the chin bar, magnets can reattach to the stationary part.
