"Full marks to 509 for replacing the buckles super fast. I seem to be able to go for months with no drama then I snap one or two in a matter of days. Once they are done up they hold pretty well but I do find that they get knocked open on occasion which is probably when they get sheared off. They are easy to replace so its more of an inconvenience than anything. They cold probably be a bit more robust. They are my only complaint with the boots so all and all pretty minor."
"The 509 velo raids purchased this c year have been horrible. So far I have broken 3 buckles this year. The buckles are horrible to replace as you used from very poor quality screws that strip very easy. I knew there were issues with these boots but I also heard you guys have resolved them. I am honestly pretty frustrated at the quality if your boots. I will be throwing them in the trash and getting some klim ones."
