"This was a nice concept for a helmet, but the fit/finish really needs improvement. The construction of the earmuffs for the audio separated from the velcro after the first day of use. Microphone stopped working. There is a LOT of air infiltration even with the vents closed. If they use all the user feedback and improve the manufacturing process, this really could be something unique, but until then, I'd get something else. The Ignite shield does the job but take note that it does not use the typical RCA connector at the helmet."

Nice helmet with some drawbacks

"Lots of cool features. The Fid lock is great and the visor doesn't fog too easily (your glasses will fog though). The visor on mine doesn't click shut easily. To the point where it's nearly impossible to do it quickly on the trails. These helmets run way too small. I'm an XL with other brands, but a 3XL with 509. Wouldn't be a big deal except they charge more after 2XL."

"the helmet with Cardo is a great design except, there is a wind draft from the air dams and blows cold air right on my face. hate it and is cold. will not wear it based on this issue. A lot of money to not be able to use especially with our group and all use cardo. . . fix the drafts and it would be a great helmet."

A helmet with all the amenities, but shortcomings.

"I am criticizing this helmet because of the price point and the shortcomings. Biggest issue is that the shield pivots on some "over-engineered cams". Great concept when there is no cold or frost present. Drive around in maine for about 1 hr in the 0 degree weather and frost build up occurs in the cam mechanism. This displaces the shield pivot detents (at those cams) and it does not shut right and will actually start to break the detents. Opening and shutting the helmet a few times on a really cold run will break those detents and then the shield will not seal properly and all hell breaks loose. Fogging, shield flying up because it won't click into place. At this point, the shield has started fogging up in between the two layers of glass (or plastic) and right in front of my face. Now for the positives. Nice looking helmet, nice speakers inside, integrates well with your phone and bluetooth. Cardo works nicely. Pretty comfortable helmet. But all of these positive things go right out the window when the helmet fails to seal and starts acting up on you. The amenities don't matter when the basic functions don't work. So would i buy this helmet again? i would, but only if i knew they have admitted fault on the current design of the shield and have made fixes"

Great helmet, speakers suck

"Upgraded from the Delta R4 Ignite 2XL which was too tight for the 3XL of this. The sizes are wild, I could have prob went up to a 4XL and been fine. It is warm, keeps the fog away nice. I love the lights on the back. My only complaint is the speakers SUCK. There is less than 0 bass in any of the music I listen to. My iPhone speaker sounds better. For the price and seeing they are JBL Premium speakers I expected a lot more from then. Other than that it is a great helmet."
