Q&A

What is the difference between the Photochromatic and Clear Tint options for the 2x-4x Delta V Ingite Shield? The pictures are the same for both options, but the prices are different. Do both darken in bright conditions and are clear in low light/nighttime? Are both also heated?: Hey Brian, apologies for the delay! The Clear Tint option is only clear and does not adapt to changing light conditions. The Photochromatic is a Photochromatic Clear to Light Smoke Tint so as you encounter brighter conditions, the shield tint transitions over to that light smoke tint. Both options are heated. Please also note, this particular shield is only compatible with our Delta V Helmets sizes 2X-4X.
I have your Delta V Carbon Commander Helmet. As of right now, 509 only offers 2 options for visors. Do you anticipate getting new visors in and making them available?: Hey Luca, apologies for the delay in reply! If you have the Delta V Carbon Commander Helmet in the larger shell size 2X-4X - those are the only 2 shield options for now. There is potential we may offer more variety next season.
