Battery life.

"Very nice gloves, certainly do what is expected of them. Just thought the batteries might last a little longer. Guess I buy a spare set."

Gary W. (4/5)

509 gloves

"I have not used the gloves since we have no snow. I did set them up on the app and it appears to work."

Carolyn Z. (5/5)

Not worth the money

"Everyone else that likes these must have a different pair than I have. Battery life is an hour or two at the most, and when the battery goes dead the gloves are worthless. You need to carry an extra set of gloves. Very disappointed for the money I spent."

Jim W. (1/5)

Good glove

"I really like the glove it is put together well. My only disappointment is that the batteries don’t seem to last very long, especially in cold situations. I almost prefer to have a little button on the back of the glove to select my heat level."

Don B. (4/5)

Had a problem was fix

"Had a problem was fix by customer service."

Stephen A. (5/5)

Nice and warm

"This is the first winter of my life that my hands have not been cold!"

Peter H. (5/5)

Buy these for your favorite trail riding partner!

"After several days of riding in Canada in frigid temps, I am sold on these gloves. I love that the technology senses when your gloves are on your hands so you aren't running the battery down when you stop for lunch in the warming hut."

Vicki I. (5/5)

Inconsistent Power and heat

"Gloves turn on and off to often with the APP"

Justin O. (3/5)

Best gloves!

"The tech in these is awesome! No buttons to press just put your hands in and the way they automatically adjust the temp, my hands are never too hot or too cold. Definitely getting more of the clim8 products"

Mike C. (5/5)

Awesome Gloves

"Great gloves battery lasted all day long. ."

Steve S. (5/5)

Q&A

Does the heat run through the thumb as well?
Hey Matt, yes the heating component runs along the back of the hands as well as the thumbs.
Is that the same battery as the goggles?
Hey Annette, unfortunately no, the Backcountry Ignite Gloves and 509 Ignite S1 Goggles run 2 separate batteries. Individual Batteries - [Battery for Ignite S1 Goggles](https://ride509.com/products/battery-for-ignite-s1-goggles) - [clim8 2000 MAH LI-ION Battery Set for Backcountry Ignite Gloves](https://ride509.com/products/clim8-2000-mah-li-ion-battery-set) Battery + Housing Unit [Battery Pack for Ignite S1 Goggles](https://ride509.com/products/battery-pack-for-ignite-s1-goggle) -[7.4 Volt Ignite Battery Set for Backcountry Ignite Gloves](https://ride509.com/products/7-4-volt-ignite-glove-battery-set) -[Glove Charger](https://ride509.com/products/backcountry-ignite-clim8-glove-charger?variant=40644738023509)
Do you sell batteries for ignite gloves? One of the batteries will not charge.
Hey Christy! Yes we do sell the batteries, they are called the [Clim8 2000 mAh LI-ion Battery set](https://ride509.com/products/clim8-2000-mah-li-ion-battery-set?variant=40644737990741). Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions!
Curious on where the heat is applied with the Backcountry Ignite gloves. Does it just heat the back of the palm or do heating elements run down the fingers as well?
Hey Cole! The heating elements are solely on the backside - back of the hands and fingers.
